WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT

“In consideration of Nanyang Technological University and its partners, vendors, and associated organisations ("the Organisers") permitting me to participate in local and overseas events, activities, or programs organised or endorsed by the Organisers (collectively referred to as "the Event"), I,the undersigned participant, hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk I acknowledge that participation in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injuries, accidents, and other unforeseen incidents. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event, whether foreseen or unforeseen.

2. Release of Liability   I, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, hereby release, waive, and discharge the Organisers, their officers, employees, agents, representatives, partners, vendors, and any other affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur as a result of my participation in the Event.

3. Medical Treatment I authorise the Organisers to secure medical treatment for me in the event of an emergency, and I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of such treatment.

4. Acknowledgment of Rules and Regulations I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the Organisers, including any health and safety protocols. I understand that failure to comply may result inmy disqualification from the Event.

5. Governing Law This waiver and release form shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

6. No Third Party Rights: Any person not a party to this Agreement shall not have any rights to enforce the terms of this Agreement, by virtue of by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 or otherwise.
