Eligibility (applicant must fulfill all criteria to be eligible):

1. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree at the School of Social Sciences (SSS) at NTU;
2. Currently working on a Graduation Project (GP, or Final Year Project);
3. The Graduation Project must have a significant component concerning community development (see instructions below);
4. Singaporean Citizen (if group project, only one student is required to be Singaporean for the application to be eligible).

All students who fulfill the above criteria are welcome to apply.

Application Instructions:

Please provide the following details in the application:

Clearly identify the community being studied and addressed. The Selection Committee defines community as having the following features: (1) A group of people who interact with one another (either face-to-face or online) in Singapore. (2) The community members typically have shared values, beliefs, concerns or patterns of behavior (for example: the elderly community, the disabled community, the cultural community, the religious community, the student community etc.). The community can be emergent or existing.
Identify and elaborate the problem that the community faces, and how your project proposes ways to address the problem so that the community can grow in a holistic manner.

a) A bursary holder or one who is receiving other forms of financial aid;
b) A students whose Gross Monthly Household Per Capita Income (PCI) is less than or equal to $2,250 per month or Gross Monthly Household Income (GHI) is less than or equal to $9,000; or
c) A student with other demonstrable financial needs.

Candidates who apply on the basis of the priority criteria and who are selected for an award will be asked to provide financial aid records or other records showing financial need for verification.
